Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of contentintegrity.org. By using the site, you agree to them.
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Content Integrity (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of contentintegrity.org (the “site”). By accessing or using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The site is intended for adults; by using it, you represent that you are at least eighteen years old, or the age of majority where you live.
These terms cover the website itself. They are not a client services agreement. If you engage us for correction and suggestion services, that engagement is governed by its own separate terms, and nothing on this site, including your use of the contact form, creates a client relationship.
Permitted use of the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes: reading about who we are and how we work, evaluating whether to contact us, and reaching us through the contact form.
You agree not to:
- interfere with the operation or security of the site, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data connected to it;
- probe, scan, or test the site for vulnerabilities except with our prior written permission;
- use the site in any way that violates an applicable law or regulation; or
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.
We may suspend or restrict access to the site at our discretion, including where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
Intellectual property
All content on the site, including text, page copy, graphics, logos, design, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Content Integrity and may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights reserved. The Content Integrity name and logo are our marks; you may not use them, or imply any affiliation with or endorsement by us, without our prior written permission.
You may view the site and print or save individual pages for your own reference. Any other reproduction, republication, or distribution of site content requires our prior written permission.
Automated collection is restricted. You may not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download site content, and you may not collect contact or company information from the site for mailing lists, resale, lead generation, or unsolicited outreach. Ordinary indexing of public pages by general-purpose search engines, and by AI assistants that read pages to answer questions and cite their sources, is permitted. Bulk collection of site content for training datasets requires our prior written permission.
Information, not professional advice
The site describes our services and the standards we work to. It is general information, provided for convenience, and it is not professional advice of any kind: not legal advice, not public relations counsel, and not a recommendation for your specific situation.
Media coverage and publisher policies vary case by case. Nothing on this site is a promise about what any publisher will or will not do. You should not act on the site’s contents without considering your own circumstances and, where appropriate, consulting a qualified professional.
No warranties about the site
We work to keep the site accurate, current, and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about the site itself, including any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that its contents are complete or current at any given moment. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the site at any time without notice.
Using the contact form
The contact form exists so that a person with a genuine inquiry can write to us. You agree not to use it:
- for any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose;
- to send abusive, harassing, or threatening messages;
- for automated, scripted, or bulk submissions, including spam and automated testing tools; or
- to submit malicious code, files, or links.
We may ignore, block, or, where appropriate, report submissions that violate these rules. Information you submit through the form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Links to third-party sites
The site may link to third-party websites, such as publishers or source materials we reference. Those sites are not ours, and we do not control them. A link is a reference, not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Content Integrity will not be liable for damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the site. That includes indirect, incidental, consequential, special, and punitive damages, as well as loss of profits, loss of data, and business interruption, even if we have been advised that such damages were possible. To the extent we are ever found liable despite the above, our total liability for all claims relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.
In plain terms: this is an informational website provided at no charge, and the risk of relying on it rests with you. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Governing law and general provisions
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Sections that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, survive any suspension or termination of access. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us concerning use of the site itself; they do not replace or modify any separate services terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the site changes or the law does. The current version is always posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Changes take effect when they are posted here. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page occasionally.
